To honor your commitment to professional excellence, we are making both the January RHDS and CHDS Study Courses free for all of our Members. You may take one or both during the first 12 weeks of 2015. Registration closes December 25, so don’t delay!
RHDS Study Course
Now is the perfect opportunity to start preparing for the Registered Healthcare Documentation Specialist (RHDS) credentialing exam. Enrollment in the January 1, 2015, RHDS Study Course is now FREE for AHDI Members (regularly $35 for Eligible Members/$50 List Price). This 12-week, self-paced course is delivered online. You will have reading assignments each week along with a PowerPoint presentation and recording. There are quizzes each week to help assess your progress throughout the course.

CHDS Study Course
The CHDS Study Course starting on January 1, 2015, is also FREE for AHDI Members (regularly $35 for Eligible Members/$50 List Price). As you start on your path to becoming a Certified Healthcare Documentation Specialist, this 12-week level 2 preparatory course provides you with all the essentials in preparing for your exam. The course has weekly reading assignments and exercises along with supplemental quizzes to test your knowledge. Participants will spend time reviewing and understanding the CHDS exam blue prints as well as studying level 2 clinical medicine concepts by specialty, health information technology, and speech recognition technology. The final two weeks of the course will be spent on practicing critical thinking and accuracy as well as applied transcription and editing skills.
