The 2012-2013 presidential road tour is nearing completion. Thank you to all the members in the Mountain States Regional and MSR board members for your warm welcome and a fabulous day this past weekend. We met at a great facility in Colorado Springs. It was a great group, and we were exposed to new information about women’s heart health, saw DiVinci gynecology surgery, had an excellent overview of the impact of HIPAA final rules on our sector, and closed the day with great discussion on future roles and most importantly how do we as an industry and an association ensure the integrity of health information through quality documentation.
