The Credentialing Commission for Healthcare Documentation (CCHD) has updated the policies for retiring a credential to include the RHDS and CHDS credentials in addition to the CMT credential. For those who are retiring or no longer practicing medical transcription/healthcare documentation, you may choose to retire your credential and maintain the designation of RHDS-R, CMT-R, or CHDS-R.
