President’s Address—Industry Insight

Last month I attended the AHIMA Health Information Integrity Summit in Alexandria, Virginia, as part of National Health Information Technology Week. Attendees were primarily health information management professionals from around the country with an interest in the integrity of patient records and data. Just to give you an idea of the subjects being discussed, I plugged my notes into a word cloud generator and came up with the graphic shown. As you can see, the focus was mainly on data and information governance, but there were several other phrases that seemed to come up often, so I will highlight those for you. Read more.
