Interview with Vern Davenport, MedQuist, CEO

In August of this year, in conjunction with AHDI's Annual Convention & Expo (ACE) in Phoenix, Jay Vance, CMT, had the opportunity to interview MedQuist's new CEO and Chairman of the Board, Vern Davenport. Their conversation touched on a number of issues impacting the medical transcription industry, including the electronic health record, consolidation, technology, and downward pressure on compensation.
