Your "Go To" Resource for Adopting and Mastering the Model Curriculum

The eSource for Healthcare Documentation Instructors is a resource created by the AHDI eSource task force, comprised of members of the 2012 AHDI Model Curriculum task force. All participants in this project are educators and understand the challenges of finding new ways to teach the material in the model curriculum. This is a compilation of resources for instructors to use when teaching courses that follow the AHDI Model Curriculum. Included in this resource are teaching tips and ideas for every objective in the curriculum, sample discussion questions, and many more resources to help make your job as an instructor easier!

Preapproval of CECs Program

Beginning February 25, 2014, AHDI and the Credentialing Commission for Healthcare Documentation (CCHD) will be releasing a revised program for the preapproval of credit-worthy educational activities. The updated "Preapproval Program for CEC Activities" will offer content providers a special logo indicating their content has been preapproved and list the preapproved activities on a downloadable guide marketed and distributed to CMTs and CHDSs. An administrative fee will go into effect with the revised program, with fees ranging from $25 to $75. Preapproval will remain free of charge for AHDI components and state/regional associations. 2013 Timeline of Accomplishments

Thanks to the engagement of all our volunteers and the work of staff during 2013, AHDI's many accomplishments continue to push this sector to the forefront of key industry stakeholder groups. Despite an unstable economy and the rate of change that's occurring in our sector, we have endured to offer relevant member programs and services. A Walk Through the Blue Prints

Take the mystery out of the credentialing exam with AHDI's Exam Guides for both the RHDS and CHDS exams. Both of these publications provide a detailed orientation to the exam blue print to jump start your path to becoming certified.
